I always wanted to know what was behind the mountain near Fremont and Milpitas. I took Calaveras Blvd and drove up to the hill a few years ago to see the snow. It was pretty cool. There were some houses there and it was like a totally different place. I saw a lake and the other shore was another mountain. There came my next question: what is behind that mountain?
I also drove up there once. Near the top of the hill, it is a two-way tiny road but only one car can fit in, next to the road is cliff... pretty scary. A safer way to see the mountain top view is to hike up mission peak ... I should arrage a hiking trip since Spring is near.
